Introducing The Lake - Our First Library for the Raizes Player

We’re very excited to announce The Lake, our very first library created for the Raizes Player by ZAK Sound.

This marks the beginning of a new chapter for Kompose Audio, as Raizes becomes a new platform alongside our ever-expanding Soundbox and Kontakt collections. With this launch, we’re opening the door to a new generation of instruments and soundscape libraries, and The Lake is the first of many Raizes libraries to come.

Inspired by the stillness and quiet beauty of calm water, The Lake explores the idea of sound as something fluid — tones that drift, merge and slowly evolve, much like reflections moving across the surface of a lake.

Inside the library you’ll find 12 evolving ambient soundscape beds, each built from layered textures that gently shift and unfold over time. These atmospheric beds create immersive backdrops that instantly fill the space with depth and calm.

Alongside these are 12 fully playable pad presets, designed to blend beautifully with the soundscapes. These expressive pads allow you to introduce movement, harmony and melody while remaining perfectly integrated with the evolving textures.

Together, they form a palette of sounds inspired by water, reflection, flow and stillness — ambient instruments designed to drift, breathe and evolve within your music

What Is Raizes?

Raizes by ZAK Sound is a powerful hybrid instrument platform that combines advanced sampling with wavetable synthesis, designed to host and enhance custom sound libraries like The Lake.

At the heart of Raizes is a six-layer audio engine, allowing multiple sound sources to be blended and shaped simultaneously. Each layer can be sculpted with dual filters, extensive modulation options and up to 36 effects slots, giving composers and sound designers a remarkably deep environment for shaping their sounds.

Raizes also features an intelligent MIDI generative engine and access to a curated library of more than 1,200 MIDI files, helping transform the platform from a simple instrument host into a powerful composition tool. With full MPE compatibility, it offers expressive control for modern MIDI controllers and performance systems.

When you purchase The Lake, you will also have access to download the free Raizes Player, which is all you need to run the library.

Simply install the player, log in, and your Raizes libraries will be ready to download and explore.
