Raizes Player Is Now Available for iPad

We’re incredibly excited to share some fantastic news - the incredibly talented team at ZAK Sound have developed an iPad version of Raizes Player!

Raizes Player is now officially available for iPad, opening up a whole new way to enjoy Raizes instruments and, of course, our growing collection of Kompose Audio Fragments.

Whether you’re making music in the studio, sitting on the sofa, travelling or simply want to step away from the computer for a while, you can now take Raizes with you and explore your sounds wherever inspiration happens to strike.

And it’s not just a standalone app. Raizes Player also works as an AUv3 instrument, which means you can load it directly into compatible iPad music apps including Logic Pro for iPad and GarageBand.

Your Raizes instruments. Now on iPad.

The standalone Raizes Player app is at the heart of the iPad experience.

Simply sign in to your ZAK Sound account and you can browse your available instruments, download and manage your libraries, install updates and import your Kompose Audio Fragments - all directly from your iPad.

Once an instrument is installed, the same content is available when you open Raizes Player as an AUv3 instrument inside a compatible host.

So you only need to install your libraries once and they’re ready to use both in the standalone app and within your iPad music projects.

Already own Raizes instruments?

There’s more good news - you don’t need to purchase your supported Raizes instruments again for iPad.

Simply sign in using the same ZAK Sound account you already use for Raizes, open Browse Instruments, and your compatible libraries will appear under Your Instruments, ready to download and install.

If you’ve recently purchased an instrument or redeemed a code and it hasn’t appeared yet, just tap Refresh and Raizes will update your available library.

It makes moving between desktop and iPad incredibly straightforward.

Kompose Audio Fragments on iPad

This is something we’re particularly excited about here at Kompose Audio!

Our new Fragments series was created exclusively for the free Raizes Player - a growing collection of fully playable micro libraries designed to offer something small, affordable and inspiring whenever you need a fresh sound or a new creative direction.

And now your Fragments can come with you on iPad.

Simply download your .rzmini Fragment file and import it into the standalone Raizes Player app. Once installed, your Fragment will also be available when using Raizes as an AUv3 instrument.

It means you can explore a new Fragment, start playing with sounds and turn an idea into music without needing to be sitting in front of your main studio computer.

For us, that feels like a perfect fit for what Fragments is all about - small instruments, big sounds and inspiration wherever you happen to be.

A whole new way to experience Raizes

We’ve been hugely excited about Raizes and the possibilities it gives us when creating new instruments for Kompose Audio.

Having Raizes Player available on iPad takes that another step further.

You can browse and install instruments in the standalone app, sit down and simply play without opening a DAW, or load Raizes directly into an iPad project as an AUv3 instrument when you’re ready to start creating.

Most importantly, it gives you another way to make music - without always having to be tied to your studio.

Raizes Player for iPad is available now and requires iPadOS 16 or later.

So grab your iPad, install Raizes Player and take your sounds somewhere new.

We can’t wait to see where you create with it.
