The Kompose audio vsts have been a revelation for me, which is why I've bought around 12. I find if you blend them you can easily create the most amazing ambient sound scapes. Thanks again guys for another great product

Utterly sublime. Although this is a recent addition to my depository of sounds, the more I get to know it, the more I get to love it. It is rapidly becoming a go-to imperative. I have been searching for this style of vocal for aeons, the flexibility, functionality and creative options available here can only embellish any piece, adding a distinctly ethereal, delicate yet distinctive array of sounds that I have only found within Kadence. Hi James, thanks for your feedback! To edit a pad's start point, click the spanner icon in Kontakt (top left), then Group Editor. Make sure Edit All Groups is off, select a pad, then go to Mapping Editor and click the mapping area (it should turn yellow). Finally, open Wave Editor to adjust the start point. Hope this helps! 🙂
As soon as this came out, I grabbed it. The sound quality from the muti-sampling through Soundbox, leaves every other plugin/sampler/rompler completely obsolete! I am absolutely blown away with the richness and tones of the vocals when layered together. Within 3 minutes I had already used Choir to layer my synth melody for a cinematic cyberpunk score. I love to create hybrid cinematic scores and tracks. Choir can be used for any genre and not just ambient music. I have not found another instrument plugin/sampler bank with this gorgeous of an ethereal sound. I love the loudness and clarity of the vocals when adding other instruments. Kompose Audio has the highest quality Kontakt and Soundbox instuments out there, and Choir is my new favorite!

Have recently got back into composing ambient & spa type music. The plugin landscape has changed dramatically since I was last involved (2014/15). Saw an add for this and gave it a try. Great, versatile soundscape - ideal for what I do and fast to experiment with a good UI. In fact I've bought 4 Kompose products now all equally built to a high standard. Using Soundbox versions rather than Kontakt as for some reason Kontact 7 and 8 wont record whereas Soundbox is bullet-proof. Will buy more, for sure!

I find ambient instruments such as Umbris quite inspiring.
However, it seems a lot of the recent "instruments" on offer are very much the same and run the risks of becoming derivative. Take a big swoosh, add some bell tones, and female ahhhhhs then drown the whole thing in reverb etc.
Some of the other packs featuring tortured pians etc etc offer a way forward to wider palettes.
Just saying - not criticizing you know??
