Atmospheric textures inspired by deep space

Dark Matter is my exploration of the unknown. I've always been fascinated by space and the endless mystery that lies beyond what we can see. I wanted to create an instrument that captures that sense of curiosity, transforming it into atmospheric textures, haunting pads, and otherworldly soundscapes that invite you to explore without limits.

My musical journey began in the world of orchestral composition, but in recent years I've become captivated by synthesizers and the incredible possibilities they offer. Every preset in Dark Matter has been meticulously crafted using my PWM Mantis hybrid-analogue synthesizer, with countless hours spent layering, shaping, and refining each sound by hand. The result is a collection of expressive presets that feel alive, cinematic, and full of character.

Built exclusively for the free Soundbox player, Dark Matter has been designed to be intuitive, inspiring, and deeply playable from the very first note. Whether you're scoring film, creating ambient music, or simply searching for fresh sonic inspiration, my hope is that Dark Matter sparks the same sense of wonder and discovery that inspired me throughout its creation.
