James began his musical journey in the world of orchestral composition, but in recent years has developed a deep fascination with synthesizers and the incredible creative possibilities they offer. Every preset in Dark Matter has been meticulously crafted using his PWM Mantis hybrid-analogue synthesizer, with countless hours spent layering, shaping, and refining each sound by hand. The result is a collection of expressive presets that feel alive, cinematic, and full of character.
