From the almost savage, snarly edge of Orbyss Bass A, to the thick restraint of Bass B with its menacing/foreboding undertone (imho), and the mystery of the Orbyss pad, this is a different library to play, and fits well as both a bottom section in a layered synth orchestration with the two bass presets, as well as an expansive melancholic/wistful/wry pad which can quickly morph into a much darker sound with, for example, diminished and minor 9/11 chords. I'm still exploring the possibilities, but Orbyss is already a worthy addition to my collection.

2 powerful presets that I tried in reverse to each other. First the multipad, to which I added taiko drums, and woodwind and brass chords in soft staccatos, setting a rhythm almost as a background to the pads. Then the pad instrument played softly over quiet rhythmic sordino strings (including the Kompose Cello and Viola).
Really interesting sounds for both presets, and I'm looking forward to experimenting further.

An excellent lib. The sound fits well with my traditional orchestral instruments, including an experiment I tried with Kadence providing the underpinning for 4 solo strings playing soft staccatos as a foil for the Kadence base. Kadence is. like the rest of my Kompose Audio soundpacks, sound (no pun intended) value for results.

Wow, I really LOVE this plug-in! I've not spent A LOT of time yet 'under the hood', and could actually stand to learn more about operating the control panel, but I look forward to exploring - and USING it - on my next ambient project. Normally those projects take me part of a YEAR to finish. With the Lumen 2 in operation, it will likely shorten that time to mere WEEKS! There are sounds in there that I could never have previously imagined. But now with just a few mouse-clicks, there's a whole KINGDOM of rich soundworlds to play with! And it promises to pair so nicely with the other sound sources (many on the 'organic' side) I tend to call up. Way to go!

Pretty astonishing. The soprano and alto sounds are near perfect up and down the keyboard. The reverb is lovely. For $18 I don't know how it's possible to beat this price to performance ratio for any product, musical or otherwise.
