Black Feather has exactly the kind of dark atmosphere I was looking for. I’m currently scoring a medieval short film and the soundscape immediately gave me ideas for some of the darker, more tense scenes. It has that ominous cinematic feel without sounding over the top, and there’s plenty of room to shape it into your own score. Really useful little instrument and definitely one I’ll be using.

Gorgeous Black Feather pad preset that has a dark ominous presence opening up into a texturized swell that is perfect for use as a dark synth bass. The Black Feather Soundscape preset is the perfect atomsphere for a dark medieval fantasy score. Finally, The Black Feather Synth preset completes pack with an unexpected dark static sound that is perfect for a driving bassline.

The pad in this has some cool uses for cinematic music, especially in the lower octaves when playing with the mod wheel. The Soundscape is fantastic, useful for both dramatic and dark ambience.

Kompose Audio's vivid and nuanced sound design is one of its signature characteristics and Sparks 23, with its mixture of textures inspired me. More of this, please!

Got this free with grenadier and it pairs so well with it. Really impressed with the quality and focus on weird ambient, droney stuff.

Fantastic Library!

I live for texture and atmosphere in music - sounds where "the air is a sound" rather than there just being a sound in the air. This is one of the few instruments I've found in a while that gives me a lot of that (as well as other, more "in your face" sounds.

There's really not much you can complain about here. The recording quality is fantastic, and you get access to the individual sections with close and far mics. Really, my only problem is the lack of release samples. If you don't add a good reverb tail, as soon as you let go of a key, the voices just--stop. But again, for less than $20, just fantastic.

Only just started using the free soundbox player and the Kompose Audio soundbox libraries are wonderful tools for great ambient music. I have bought so many, I should have gotten the bundle. Great quality and for the low price.
