Perfect for what I was looking for

I bought 4-5 of these similar 'pad' type products, each is a little different, and I use them to add just a touch of mystery/depth behind certain sections of music, rather than basing entire pieces or sections around the patches themselves. It's great to have all of these available for creating nice moods/ambiences on top of other keyboard layers, definitely helps create the vibe. The names are so similar, I get them confused, but I got them all, lol, and I'm glad I have all of them available to me.

Really great work!

It adds such depth and colour without trying to out do any of the other instruments that I have loaded in a composition. I love the fact that unlike other ethereal sounding libraries, the textures continue to evolve and at a much slower pace, not rushing to the peak but rather, casually gliding along.

I’ve only gotten round to using it one project so far, a dark tension piece, but it filled that missing element of mood setting beautifully. I aim to try it in other ambient and mood setting cues, beit contemplative, investigative or more eerie. It’s excellent value and no one can dispute the price for such a high quality virtual instrument.

Arcturus sounds beautiful

With some presets playing slow single notes on the keyboard, you can create at the same time a lead line and a beautiful ever evolving soundscape in the background (especially if you keep the hold-pedal pressed), other presets can be used more as a pad (both with single notes and with chords) or even as a complete soundscape.

If you own the full Kontakt version Arcturus is a beautiful addition to your library, especially if you are into ambient or cinematic music.

Until now I have created one song with Arcturus (paired with some Rigid Audio libraries, a combination that works really well) and more are surely going to follow.
