Grandis is a beautifully recorded concert grand piano for Soundbox, designed to be simple, playable, and instantly inspiring.

At its core, this is a piano you can load and just play.

Each note has been carefully sampled from a real concert grand with 11 velocity layers per note, captured using two distinct mix positions - Close and Stage. These have been set up as individual layers inside Soundbox, giving you quick control over the character of the instrument. Bring the Close mics forward for detail and intimacy, or blend in the Stage position for a more open, natural space.

The library includes one main preset - Concert Grand Piano, carefully balanced to sound right straight away.

Alongside this, you’ll find 8 additional chord presets, created using Soundbox’s Chord Generator. These are designed to spark ideas quickly, giving you ready-to-play harmonies that sit beautifully with the core piano sound.

A gentle limiter has been applied to the master output to keep everything balanced, along with subtle top-end shaping and a touch of reverb to add space without getting in the way. The result is a piano that feels polished and musical from the first note.
