I picked up Naiad recently for Soundbox, and honestly, it’s been kind of a surprise in the best way. It’s not your typical virtual instrument—there are only 15 presets, but each one feels really alive. You just hold down a key, and the sound kind of unfolds on its own, shifting and moving in this really organic, evolving way. You’re not playing melodies or chords in the usual sense—it’s more like you’re triggering an environment, or setting something in motion.

The sounds themselves are really lush and textured, almost cinematic but not in a big, bombastic way. More like something you’d hear in an ambient film score or a meditative space. Some of them remind me of strings or synth pads, but there’s this extra depth—like layers gently moving against each other. It’s subtle, but really effective.

You can tell a lot of care went into the sound design. Apparently, they used a bunch of different hardware synths—Hydrasynth, Wavestation, MiniBrute, and some others—and you can hear that variety in the tone. It doesn’t sound like presets you’d find in a typical soft synth.

There’s also a version tuned to 432Hz, which I’ve been using more for ambient and meditative stuff. It feels a little warmer and softer, which I didn’t think I’d notice much, but I actually do.

Anyway, I wouldn’t use Naiad for every project—it’s pretty specific in what it does—but when I want something that just floats and evolves, or if I’m working on something emotional or atmospheric, it’s perfect. More like sculpting a mood than composing in the usual way.

This was my first Sbpack, and my introduction to Soundbox.
After trying it and a few other sbpacks, i decided to fully unlock Soundbox.
This is exactly the kind of tool i was looking for and not finding..

The presets are powerful. I use Cinescapes Pro for a base and layer Naiad with two to three layers and let them marry each other. Great background for art, reading, sleeping, etc. Good job guys 👍

I've already used Somara in at least a couple of projects. Love it.
But here's the thing: if Kompose puts something out, I'm going to purchase it. EVERYTHING they produce becomes part of the palette I use. Not a wronf not yet!

The plugin is amazing and surprisingly well done. My only critique is the key range, but that’s honestly just a nitpick. Great work

I discovered Grenadier by accident as it was suggested to me by YouTube. The description sounded interesting so I clicked on the video and seconds into it, I knew I had to have it……it’s very easy to use, the presets are great too, and it’s perfect for grim, dark ambient soundscapes.. Well worth the asking price…..highly recommended! In fact, after purchasing Grenadier, I went back and picked up Blackspire and Tenebris and will definitely be using these on my next project!

This instrument is great for happy accidents. I purchased and no regrets at all.

Kumori has become really useful in my ambient and chill endeavors. I also find myself listening without an agenda. Just holding down or repeating a key or two and listening to it beautifully unfold. Excellent.

I've been really happy with the other packs i've got, so very quick purchase! The presets sound amazing and create such a lovely vibe. Exactly what i wanted, perfect to add to guided meditation recordings, i'm sure i'll find plenty of use for these elsewhere too. Really great quality work, and an extremely reasonable price!

I use this for work when I am creating tension. I use it in combination with brick and other native instrument software. I will continue to buy from this company. Very reasonably priced.
